Guided reading

Five reading paths, one for each type of institution.

The main menu lists every page by topic. A reading path takes the same pages in the order one type of institution needs them — development institutions, banks and microfinance, enterprises, public authorities, analysts and press. Every path ends with the country programs and the contact page.

Development institutions

Who this path is for: The African Development Bank, the World Bank Group and other development finance institutions, climate funds, United Nations agencies, the European Union, bilateral cooperation agencies, foundations and impact investors.

How the platform is financed and sequenced, why credit at each hub makes the hubs themselves financeable, how each pillar is carried by the institution built for it, and how funding attaches to programs already financed in each country.

Banks & microfinance

Who this path is for: Commercial and public banks, microfinance institutions, savings and credit cooperatives, BIDF and guarantee funds in each country.

How the produce that flows through a hub becomes security a bank can lend against, how collective sale serves producers, buyers and lenders at once, and how records built season by season open credit to the whole sector.

Who this path is for: Technology and service companies, agricultural buyers and processors, cooperative unions, and the incubators of the African Agribusiness Incubators Network.

Who this path is for: Ministries, public agencies and regulators, public utilities, the central bank, provinces and communes, and public universities and training centres of a host country.
