Countries
Country programs.
Depth before breadth. Each country runs one pilot region, verified against published indicators, before anything scales. Where an African Agribusiness Incubators Network member leads, the program runs through it; where none is yet designated, PURE Power Africa's own country program carries the ground.

Burundi is where the model is proven first: one operating solar plant behind it, two ministries behind the same private operator, a national campus as the technical base, and the first hubs under construction with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). In 2026 Burundi also chairs the African Union.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is the largest market on the program's map and the one where the default sequence changes most. Rural electricity access is around one percent, agriculture employs six in ten Congolese, and logistics run on rivers. PURE Power DRC is carried by the platform's own operating company, licensed in the country, until a network lead member is designated.

Uganda follows Burundi: a signed network member, a National Energy Compact launched in June 2026, and East African Community membership, so equipment, spares and trainers move from the Burundi base within one customs union while the Ugandan wheel is stood up. Depth before breadth.

Cameroon spans the Sahel, the savanna, the highlands and the equatorial forest in one stable, bilingual country with a currency pegged to the euro. What is learned across its climates and crops transfers to most of the continent. PURE Power Cameroon is being prepared with the Bamoun Kingdom around a first agri-value hub at Koutaba, in the Noun.

Nigeria runs in parallel with its own country wheel: a signed network member, states that hold land and institutions, and a scale that justifies national engineering, customs and regulatory capacity from the first cluster — the base for West Africa when the network extends there.
